removing stock front bumper ??

hey guys going have a crack at putting on my bull bar over the week end but have got no idea how you remove the stock bumper any tips or hints would be awsome thanks heaps

Hey mate, I think I have a really basic write up about it on my build thread. If not its really straight forward anyway. This is all just for memory so don't quote me, but I think its all pretty close.

1. Remove the grille. I think there are about 6 plastic pins holding it in. Just get a straight bladed screw driver and lift them out.

2. For memory there are 2 bolts that you need to undo that act as supports for the bumper. Take them out.

3. Undo all the little bolts or clips that hold it onto the wheel arches.

4. Two little clips that hold it in just below the lights. Needs a little bit of force.

Go to this site https://toyotamanuals.com.au/accessories and look up this part number PZQ29-89281. This will give you the instructions for the genuine bulbar which will tell you how to take the front bumper off.

follow jaydo's link not to hard at all could prob just feel your way through it aswell

What bullbars did you guys put on ?

I have a Tjm T13 bar , I rang Tjm and they want near $700 just for fitting, I want to have a crack myself ... i am a little concerned about cutting the bumper bar for the infills
