CV boot slip

Postby Autorres on Fri, 28 Jan 2022 8:21 +0000

I'm trying to make ifs reliable but everytime I hit mud of a trail that is somewhat challenging my cv boot will slip. first time this happened the vehicle was completely stock and after getting stuck in some mud i had noticed my outer cv boot had slipped blowing grease everywhere, that was a while back. fast forward to present day hilux is now lifted maybe 2.5", running 285/75/16, and after getting stuck this past weekend same thing happened. is there a way to keep cv boots from slipping? if not anyone here has rcv axles?

cheers.
