Does anyone have any videos on how the factory locker works/operates in the N80 rear diff

I have seen this but I’m looking for a inside look at the operation of the locker, ie what is the locking mechanism when I hit the switch. I understand it is an e locker but just curious how it differs from a harrop.

I haven't seen the current factory diff locks but I am familiar with the old landcruiser factory lockers - a pic can be found here https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/99-lan ... ock.76262/

I have posted pics of inside a harrop elsewhere on this forum.

In my view, the factory units are far superior to the harrop units. Both are simple designs, the factory is probably simpler as it has fewer small parts to come loose and grenade your diff.

But where the factory really wins over the harrop - it wont unlock when you change direction.

(I might be burnt from my experience with my harrop)
I might be wrong.
