I haven't seen the current factory diff locks but I am familiar with the old landcruiser factory lockers - a pic can be found here

In my view, the factory units are far superior to the harrop units. Both are simple designs, the factory is probably simpler as it has fewer small parts to come loose and grenade your diff.
But where the factory really wins over the harrop - it wont unlock when you change direction.
(I might be burnt from my experience with my harrop)
