New to the forum, sorry if this has been covered in the past but did not find anything, i need some advice, I have a kun26r, it has a low speed squeak after the vehicle has done a few ks, its not brake related, so far to date I've changed all the u joints, the centre bearing, the wheel bearings, also the extension tube bearing on the front diff, but the noise is still there, any ideas regards lee,

Mount a gopro under neath it in various places and narrow down the possibilities.

A few have had a squeak that turned out to be one of the CV seals, either the hub seal or diff seal that was dry.

What year and how many km?
Does the noise happen under articulation or on the flat too?
Why is it not brake related?

Its a 2011 with 200000ks I don't think its the brakes because when I depress the brake pedal, the noise does not stop or change its tone, the squeak/ squeal happens turning and in a straight line, and I never here it on short trips, thanks

I've had low speed squeal from seals a couple of times. First time dealer replaced them, then again 18 months later annoying me again on a trip so I sprayed a shit load of silicone in there while spinning the wheel and it's still good. The dealer indicated it wasn't unusual.

Hi bushwalker thanks for your response, when you say you sprayed silicone around the seals, are they the seals where the front drive shafts enters the diff and enters the hub,? Thanks lee

Naturally it will be the hub side as they are harder to get access to.

It would be the way if it were my problem.
