2016 hilux 6 speed

i have a 2016 gun126r 6 speed manual 130000 km
i tow a small digger on tandem trailer on a regular basis
It will not go in to 3rd gear and i believe the the sycro hub it shot

MY questions ???
Has any one got experience of this problem ? (WITH THIS GEARBOX)
What was the fault ?
What was the fix ?

If its the RA60F transmission, then yes, Tacoma users in the US have experinced the issue. First time in my memory seeing it here though.
I might be wrong.

There is a bulletin regarding the shift detent springs for these gearboxes

Symptom:
After travelling a reasonable distance in one gear, it becomes difficult to shift the gear lever out of gear.
This symptom usually occurs in 5th or 6th gear.

Cause:
Transmission oil is slung off the rotating gear against the main shaft lock ball. This oil accumulates behind the lock ball assembly and is slow to drain away. When driven in one gear for a period of time the oil build up casuing a hydraulic effect on the lock ball when a gear change is attempted.

Counter Measure:
To allow the oil to drain quicker a machined flat surface has been added to the lock pin.

How did you go with this issue mate?

I do very simular, tow a digger on a trailer with a 6 speed and haven't had issues yet.
