Fortuner rear diff.

Postby Hulix26r on Sat, 25 Feb 2023 8:44 +0000

Scanning the internet and noticed the new fortuners have disk brake rear end.
Does anyone know if you can swap these onto the drum hilux rear diff.
Or has anyone shaved the coil gear off one of these diff and installed lead spring purchases and bolted it in?
I'm thinking if you went disk rear you may need the fortuner master cylinder to match ?

I'm sure someone has done it. Be easy enough if the width is the same. I'd cross ref the master cyl part numbers or just bolt on a furtuner master cyl.
I might be wrong.
