Recurve Flash Tune

Postby Zbren11 on Sun, 15 Jan 2023 6:07 +0000

Hello,

I have a 2022 Hilux and am wanting a little more power for towing. Was searching around and found a few places are now making tuners that you can upload from home. I know a proper dyno tune is the best way to go and plan on this once its out of Warranty, but was looking for something I can do now that I can undo if I have an issue.

I noticed Recurve has something that stores your factory ECU map and then you can just reload it. Has anyone had any experience with this? Any good or bads? or other brands? Want to try avoid Warranty issues. otherwise I'll just have to wait.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

I don't personally but a bloke I know at work has the recurve unit in he's 79 series. He's very happy with it. When he puts it in for a service he puts the standard tune in but normally runs with the power tune. Takes about 5 minutes to change over. He gets better economy in the power tune compared to standard as well.
