Crankcase breather hose

Postby Cure on Thu, 26 Aug 2021 5:43 +0000

Hi all,

Does anyone know part number for a crankcase breather hose? And where to buy it from (other than Toyota)?
SR N80 model.

I want to remove catchcan but need the original hose.

Remove the Catch can??? Why? If you must, then just use the hose from the catch can, it's the same size.
Cheers Gipsy :D although I'm sure somebody will challenge that  even Einstein wasn't certain of his theories.

Put your vin into partsouq and then search the parts calalogue.

Gipsy... I ditched my catch can. IMHO they are more a gimmick than anything useful on a small diesel.
I might be wrong.

I run a provent 200 and it works great filter out water and sludge from going back to the engine.
Maybe the brand you used was the problem

Dave, the sludge just forms in the can, the oil and moisture if left alone pass straight through in their base elements and work as an upper cylinder lube.
Get rid of the soot, thats the stuff that wares things.

Thanks mate,

I just got of the phone with my local dealership, they say part number 12261 is the whole hose assembly (which I need), not just the elbow bit as indicated from partsouq with that part number.

I ordered assembly from Toyota.

Thank you again.
