2.8 Engine Moving Back & Forth Under Load?

HI, just had a guy over to do a pre-sale inspection on my 2016 SR5 Hilux & has noticed that under load, with the park brake on & in drive or reverse under throttle the engine is moving back & forth a good 20-30mm under torque load instead of the usual side to side movement.
I've just clocked over 54,000k's, had DPF issues, it's booked in tomorrow for a new timing chain, tensioner & cam replacement & now this.
Sound like engine mounts? Gearbox mounts look perfect.
Cheers

hard to see how that would happen actually , and im surprised anybody would check a car over to that level of detail without giving some sort of explanation over how that would occur. did you see it for yourself ?

Yeah i saw it for myself. If someone could put their's in reverse with the park brake engaged & give it a few surges of the throttle with the bonnet up with someone taking notice to see if this is just what they do that would be great!!

the engine has to come out for timing chain replacement anyway , so ask them to inspect / replace the mounts while the engine bay is empty.
I know Prados have an issue with the active engine mounts , but Hiluxs use a conventional mount
