Tyler, no I wouldn't be too worried until you try another tap, but my guess is that your exhaust does make a difference and the stepper may be at minimum travel which the ECU cannot override. The whole OEM system is changed by the egr plate and the flowing exhaust so all the OEM parameters are changed. I wonder what the reading would be using a scan gauge? Might pay to compare the boost gauge and scan gauge readings before you move the tap.
