Hi guys ,

Just wondering if anyone has experienced an intermittent fault I am getting on my 2016 SR5 ,
occasionally it will display on the dash " REDUCED ENGINE POWER, VISIT YOUR DEALER" ,
once it comes on it does feel a little doughy as the light suggests its reduced its power.

Weird thing is it wont always do it , most of the time when it comes on you can drive through
it and as the rev's and load increase it will turn off.
Does it when it's cold , when its hot it is just very random.

Have done the manual regen on the DPF via scanner,replaced fuel filters both factory and pre filters & doesn't seem to make any difference.

Has anyone come across this yet, surely mine can't be the only one.

Do you have big spotlights or light bar? Could be intake temp if the intercooler isn't getting enough airflow

Interesting , however it can do it pretty much the second you start it and drive so wouldn't think it would be restricted air
flow when its cold but maybe a bad sensor or something.

If my car would say visit the dealer i would visit the dealer

How many micron is the pre filter? Not getting fuel restriction are you?

having the same problem this morning.

hi did anyone find the issue causing this? same problem, no codes nothing all sensors seem to be giving good readings, tried a new maf sensor and new filters.
