Knock sensor

Hi all
Can some help with this I have had the engine light come on and go away 2 times now had a mate put his code reader on it came up with P0333 high bank 2 Knock sensor . Its the 4 ltr petrol still runs perfect .Ive only found info on tacomas which suggest the heads have to come of to replace the faulty sensor if that is the problem .I have also read that it may be possible to by pass or reset a sensor in a more acceptable place . Any help would be greatly appreciated.
