I know this is slightly off topic but as a point of conversation, the 2016 model has significant difference with previous models with more power/torque etc and much of this is due to engine mapping and enhanced technology. Toyota has spent much time and money to compete with other makes. In so doing they would have kept within parameters which leaves some overhead to insure reliability. Adding a 3" exhaust does little to reduce reliability but has demonstrated benefits so I see no reason to doubt those benefits. On the other hand, fitting a chip which alters mapping etc will have many unknowns. My question is what do others think? For info I have both chip and exhaust on a 3.0l but unsure about the new engine.
As to the exhaust question if you get written confirmation from Toyota that the warranty is intact, you have no problems but I doubt you'll get that for a chip.
Fitting a dpf delete is a whole different story, it's illegal and it will delete your warranty!
