2022 SR5 Auto queries

Postby timbo9431 on Sun, 01 May 2022 8:08 +0000

After drowning the 2016 SR5, I have recently received my new 2022 SR5. This is the first auto I have ever owned (could be the large trailer I got tired of reversing up the steep drive and burning clutch plates...... or I could be getting old and lazy!).
I have a few questions.
1. When I fade the audio to the rear, there is hardly any sound from the rear speakers unless I turn it up to 20+. The 2016 model had similar output front and rear. Is this a fault on my car or a new 2022 feature?
2. Is there a way to make the dash display what gear the vehicle is using when in Drive?
3. I intend fitting the 4.1 diffs from my previous (manual) SR5 along with 33inch tyres offroad and 32inch daily drivers. Has anyone encountered any ESC, ABS, TRC, ETC control issues in the auto, after fitting 33 inch tyres and/or lower diffs?
Thanks for any comments....

I’ll answer the first one. My speakers are terrible too and the reply I got on the first service was it’s normal.

...same for me: the rear speakers are more quiet than the front ones...
