2018 SR cab chassis reverse camera

Hi guys I just purchased a 2018 SR cab chassis and have installed an SR well body onto it. Just curious if anyone knows the best way of adding the factory well body reverse camera to the head unit. From what I understand from Toyota the wiring harness for this is not installed when the car is a factory cab chassis.

I have a Cab chassis and have the optional reversing camera. I believe it is plug and play. I have noticed that a cable runs all the way back to the head unit in the dash. It runs through a rubber grommet on the passenger side behind the rear seat then along the floor.

Mine is a 2016 SCC 4WD so may be different to the 2018 but for what it's worth there were no cables in place for the reversing camera. The optional kit came with the cable to run from the camera to the cabin plus the extra cable required for the head unit.

Anyone got info on the kit like price, part number or manual? Mine is a 2017 dual cab chassis. Looking to self install.

If you by from Toyota you will get the hole thing just get the hole lot you will get the information you need to install it plug and play.

Go to https://toyotamanuals.com.au/accessories and search for PZQ9089011 - that will give you the installation manual.
I have it fitted to a 2016 SCC 4WD, The kit came with the complete wiring harness back to the head unit.

Are there any other mobs worth considering whilst the trim panels are off?

While I had my panels out I took the opportunity to wire in the electric brake control and RJ45 jack for the UHF radio.
I should have run a power feed up to the dash top for my GPS at the same time but hadn't decided which one to get at that stage,
