Part of my work involves security. Obviously i don't want to be noticed. At night sometimes i need to have the air con on, obviously the engine needs to be running. So what happens is the park lights stay on & there doesn't seem to be a way to turn them off.... or is there?

No way as far as I'm aware, unless you want to pull the park light bulb.

Is this park lights or daytime running lights? Drl run when the engine is running and probably can't be turned off.

You'll have to get an auto electrician to fit an in-cab headlight isolation switch.

I encounter the same problem when spotlighting for roos. When I see a mob of roos I like to turn the ignition and headlights off however this can't be done with the new Hilux. I have to turn the key off and open the door in order to turn the lights off.

Bit of a pain really...
