Deactivate door chime 2017 Hilux

Can someone please tell me if it is possible to deactivate the door chime in 2017 Hilux before it sends me completely mad. The guys were kind enough to turn off the seatbelt beepers but have left the door chime active.

I asked Toyota if they could do it with tech stream. They said no, as it was a safety feature... it drives me mad as well!!

can be done with a wiring mod - remove the B pillar trim , locate the wire going to the door switch ( red , from memory ) , and wire in an on/ off switch.
