Names no longer showing for contacts on home screen.

Just wondering if anyone else has encountered this?
On my home screen (SR5), I have the four quick link contacts to call people.
Until a few days ago, they had the persons name there, then suddenly, just their numbers.
Now, strange thing is, if I push to dial someone, then go to the call register after the call, it says their name in the register, but still not on the home screen.
Haven't played with anything, or updated phone software etc.
Anyone else have this happen?

This happened on my screen a few weeks ago. OI dont know what caused it, but I fixed it by reinserting my 4 contacts.
My head unit also stopped reading out my incoming text messages years ago, and I havent found a fix for that.

I've found this becomes a problem if you use +61 for your numbers of your contacts , if you put contacts in as +61 and as 04 whatever you get less issues with it not picking up the name.

Did anyone find a fix for the text messages not displaying? mine stopped a few months ago too.

The text messages displaying stopped working for me about 2 off those "updates are required" messages and did the updates.
I use an iPhone and have tried everything to get it to work but all failed, going to Melbourne shortly to get a new head unit installed so far I like the new Kenwood units has anyone installed one of these ?
