In dash satnav problem

Postby retiredambo on Fri, 13 Oct 2017 9:44 +0000

Hi everyone.
My 2016 SR5 has a problem when I want to put in an address to navigate to. So I have my map on screen and then press menu and then out of the icons shown I press destination. When the next group of icons displays the address one is greyed out and not selectable. Have done an update through Toyota Link but the problem is still there sometimes but not all of the time.
Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks
Brian

Is the vehicle moving at the time?

I know with my sr5 if the vehicle is moving a safety feature prevents you from putting in an address so that all your attention is focused on road so therefore only time an address can be selected is when the vehicle is stationary
