GGn25 idle help

Postby xblade9090 on Tue, 06 Jun 2017 3:14 +0000

i was out bush the other day for a cruise

when i would take my foot off the accelerator with the clutch in it would rev 500rpms higher then come down slow
so the next day i took the throttle body off and gave it a good clean and checked for vacuum leaks
after i did that it was idling at 2000 rpm so i disconnected the battery witch got it to idle normal again

now when im coming up to traffic lights ill take my foot off the accelerator and clutch in and the rev will stay at 1100rpm its not till i come to a almost complete stop the rev will drop to normal but when they do it will go up then back down between 800 to 1200 rpm few times then settle and idle fine
just wonding if any one has any ides

1. Does this occur when the vehicle is cold? Could be the idle up function.

2. And probably more likely, car is doing a DPF burn.

Whilst what you haven't described isn't exactly how i experience either of those two scenarios, still quite likely to be one of the two.

How long have you had the lux and how many kms?
