Gen8 Immobiliser & Alarm

Hi Folks,

I want to install an alarm on the doors of canopy of my vehicle. It is a gull-wing two side-door aluminium set-up. I'd like to have an integrated into the existing alarm system (is there one or just immobiliser) on my 2016 SR. The quotes I have for Viper & Mongoose range between $1200 to $800. Seems a crazy amount of $$ for what should be two sensors.

Key thing for me is to make it idiot proof. I lock the cab & also arm the canopy.

Love to hear some ideas.
