led tail light problem

hi guys, I got some kool 3D LED tail lights and all seemed well till I noticed every time I hit the brake the front DRL lights switch over to park light mode mode and the lights on icon on the dash lights up. I have tried fitting a resistor but made no change, can I disable the DRL without effecting anything else?

Check your wiring big fella and look for a bad ground somewhere is my guess, brake lights are looking for a ground through your parking circuit.

Quiet a few experienced auto sparkies on here might be able to point you in a better direction but that's my guess.

o.k I will try the earth but I think it is something more strange and my be something built into the tail lights itself as when the lights are off both the park and stop part of the tail lights are lighting up with the brake but on park the park portion and brake light part are separate. it might be something built into the led tail light that the Hilux don't like?
