BCDC indicator

Morning all, I have just recently installed a BCDC and ran a wire to the interior for the indicator to show when it's charging. Does anyone know if you can get a light that clips into the blanks on the interior or if there is another neat way to install a small indicator light? Any pics or links would be greatly appreciated.
This is in a 2016 SR.

Hi Scott, I'm assuming you have purchased a Redarc BCDC 1225 or higher with the additional green charge indicator cable? You will need to purchase an LED and mount it into a blank. I would go with a 5mm LED, colour of your choice but make sure it is rated between 2-6v and not too bright. You will also need an LED mounting bezel. These are available from Jaycar and I have listed some suggestions below.

i made my own switch blanks out of some 3mm thick black plastic , cut down and filed to the shape of the factory rectangular hole. the hole is actually slightly tapered inwards , so my blanks fit in with a bit of a push and are held in tightly.
having a flat blank plate you can use any rocker or toggle switch , or multiple LEDS in the one hole.

I just got a Navra 12v Pilot Lamp with Green LED (Part No. 62028BL) and fitted it straight into one of the blanks; works well.

drill a 5mm hole in your chosen panel and fix a 5mm LED in place with a small spot of superglue from the rear. works fine
