Sorry just saw this.
Pan Temp was around 101c ... I think 111c for the TC fluid ... that was a long , soft (but easy) beach run ... sitting high 3rd , sometimes 2nd ... 40km/h or so ... so lots of constant resistance.
A mate of mine who used to build TC's and AT's reckons it's OK ... he said they'll run hot but it'll be fine ... though right on the edge I don't think would want to go much further.
There's been a few trps I've done on 40c+ days ... longgggg soft beach runs, i shudder to think how hot things were getting ... still, touch wood, it's still running!
It uses that Toyota WS World Standard oil ... i changed the oil when i bought the car (that was a debacle just getting a mechanic to agree to using the genuine WS oil) ... anyway, at 90,000 km and a fair amount of abuse, the oil was seriousl crystal clean ... amazing.
I actually don't know if i have a cooler or not... i have a small radiator looking thing infront of my main radiator. I think it's a "heat condenser" someone called it. I really should go clarify that.
