SR second cigarette plug

Hey all,

I've got an SR D/C manual which only comes with one cigarette plug. I'm looking to put a second one in (like what the SR5 has) and would like to make it look like the genuine one.

I've tracked down the part numbers for them, but can't seem to find anywhere in Aus to source them. US postage is a killer so looking for other options.

Has anyone fitted a second cig plug on the SR?

Also has anyone got a good store in Aus which can get parts?

I'm pretty sure if I asked my local stealer that I'd get 20 questions about why I'm doing that, yadda yadda yadda.

I did it to you old 2006 SR ute, i bought the second cig socket from the "dearership" and wired up myself (im an auto elec) of the batt. your best bet would be to ask a wrecker and attempted the mod yourself.

Make sure you use the correct wire size for the power draw.

I ended up sucking it up and rang the local dealer. Ordered the genuine parts for a total of $88. I'm my old N70, cost me only $30, but it didn't look as nice. I'll to a write up with parts etc in a few weeks when I put it in.
