The setting is saved forever in the vehicle computer.

He also showed me a few other things I didn't know and gave me the run down on catch cans.
I will definitely be getting one of those.
Once again thanks Pete, and as I said if you want any stickers done send me a PM.
Nice Guy..

Hey guys sorry for the long time no reply. Been working for the opposition but don't worry i haven't forgotten you.

I have finally found out how to disable the seat belt chime, ac climate control, flasher tones and all the other stuff that only could be done on with the gen software. I went and purchased my own scan tool and finally worked it out after a good year playing with it.

Is there anyone in Brisbane area that still requires it to be turned off?

Cheers Pete

Hi guys, I turned my chimes off ages ago but the problem is it also turned my headlight warning off, so I have actually flattened my battery in the past. I am fitting a new battery so would like to turn the headlight warning chime on. Does anyone know how to do this ? To turn it off I had to turn ignition off/on a couple of times and fiddle with odometer from memory. TIA !!

Just unplug wires under the seat.

On N80 models headlights can not be switched off. They are either on auto mode or switched on manually.
If in auto mode, headlights will switch off as soon as the car engine is turned off and the driver door is opened.
