if you blew a diff, yep for sure it would.

OTOH, we're simply correcting a design omission!

^agree. Can't expect warranty on a part a third party has supplied and had apart.

Anyone fitted in front of hilux 07-->. As im on to it as we speak just waiting for my spesial dial indicator 90' angle arm.. Would be nice to hear your installation experience. How much do you guys grind down on the case where the magnet makes contact. As under testing yesterday it all worked fine without grinding. But wil start grinding tommorow

Cheerz from norway

if you havent fitted one in front your self dont comment.. As it is hard enough to find right info on eaton as it is

for those interested;
had it done by opposite lock in welshpool, in/out same day, talk to Russ, he undersold and over delivered, in fact I wanted both the front and rear, he said try just rear first and if you still feel you need front then come back.
I'm very happy with the service

just on the topic of e-lockers. Has anyone had any experience with Ironman with theirs? They install the eaton locker as well however they only want 2000 for locker + installation. Opposite lock across the road with the same e locker want 2300. Anyone had any experiences?

My Eaton Harrop elocker was $2000 supplied and installed by a specialist transmission shop.
I think the elocker itself was $1600 supply only.
Cheers.

Is this e-locker also the one that is factory supplied with some models of Hilux Vigo?

I've just ordered my hilux (hope to pick it up in a few weeks) and it has got a factory fitted read locker (it's a 2.5 manual)

http://www.harrop.com.au

"ELocker/Toyota/8.4"/Live Axle" is listed as fitting "Toyota Hi Lux 1990-Current, Rear"

Suggest you email Harrop's to confirm.

Either way a rear Elocker is available because several of us have them :D
