Sydney based Lexus V8 conversion installer options?

G'Day All,

I'm possibly looking to drop a 1UZ V8 from a Lexus in my truck and was wondering if anyone knows of a good shop in the Sydeny area who has experience in installing these in Hilux's. Not bothered if its the current series, just someone who has done a few and knows what they are doing.

I've found a few guys, most seem o.k, but I really would like to find someone who knows what they are doing.
The little things like a/c, cooling systems and wiring looms are the tricky things, so someone with experience in doing these would be the ideal

I don't really frequent any other 4x4 forums as an active member, so if any of you do and could post something on them regarding this topic that would be greatly appreciated.

Hey mate Brian (Nemesis) originally had the engine in his white runner done by Hi Tech 4x4 and from what I saw they did a quality job. He then had sideshow performance who while he may be a little arrogant at times is across the 1uz swap and is one of the best in the country for wiring them. I know of several people who have paid to fly him up to Brisbane to their wiring. Things like the ac I think from memory Brian had specialised shops do and he also did a lot of things himself.

If you are a member on 4wd Action shoot him a PM for info as he will have a really good indication of 1uz people down that way. If you do go this way it will be great to see.
