whos done a throw out bearing

my truck is making a squeeling noise and when you put your foot on the clutch the noise goes away. this is the 2nd time this has happened. my car is not under warranty any more.

how much have you guys paid to get one of these fixed. toyota wanted $870 thats parts and labour.
toyota reckon they have to take off the side steps to do it?? huh?? they can put them in the bin

Im on my 4th, the first was replaced with the clutch when it dropped it lunch, the next 2 lasted days so I acted like a sqeeky bearing myself They were done under warrantee.

Ours was like yours during our outback trip last year, they sprayed some crickets piss on it somhow, that lasted about 200k. Rang them from out west, they were ready for me when we got home

How may K's has your squeeky one done There is a warrantee on parts if they did it (36mth 100000K )

As for the steps, that is so the crossarm supporting the gear box can come out, still reckon the front bolts are the only ones needed to be removed.

i rang toyota about warranty on on parts they said they only do a 12month warranty. thats bullshit. its probaly shit itself again cause the apprentices didnt do it right the first time!!
