Brake petal shudder on dirt roads only drivers side

Hi I get brake petal shudder on dirt roads and it seems like maybe its only one side the drivers side wheel that feels like its locking and releasing when apply the breaks. Its fine on the highway no problems. New pads/rotors and calipers so that rules all that out. Its a 2011 hilux d4d 4x4 does anyone else have this issue?

If you are pulling up straight its probably just the ABS doings its job and the drivers side wheel is the only one loosing traction at that time maybe because of camber and the passenger side has more weight on it.

Thanks for the info after doing a bit of research i was starting to think abs. I can see how some people dont like it on the dirt roads maybe just the older models.

You can't turn ABS off only the VSC and TRC using the VSC OFF switch.

When ABS first came in there were lots of accidents due to people taking their foot off the brake pedal when it started pulsating as they thought there was a problem. With ABS fitted vehicles its foot hard on and steer to avoid obstacles, the pedal will be pulsating and loud noises from the brake actuator but its the ABS doing its job.

Yeah, pull the fuse on the ABS .+ any traction control. Keep it 2WD , And test. Passenger side might not be working ?
Or a warped rotor.
Inspect brake pads, etc for proper fitments.
