2010 n70 Auto To Manual Conversion

Postby Anotherwhiteshagga on Mon, 25 May 2020 3:12 +0000

So my a340 decided to grenade itself
Anyway ive decided to manual convert it, anyone actually done this, I have browsed the forums and havent found any definite answers.
I have access to an entire wreckers yard with atleast 5 4WD hilux wrecks to pick parts from
So at this point i have
!. pulled the auto and cooler lines
2. pulled the auto shiffter and got ready to cut a bigger hole in my trans tunnel to accomadate the manual
3. i have ordered a heavy duty clutch kit with new flywheel and pressue plate.
4.have a freshly rebuilt manual from a 2008 hilux
We are making a stencil out of the Trans tunnel of a manual one to cut a bigger hole for mine,
also have the centre consoloe and shift boots from a manual so heres hoping
Anyone have any tips?
My biggest question is does anyone know what wires/plug is for the gear postion sensor on the auto loom

I think you might need the ECU and wiring harness too maybe?

Yeah heard as much but speed sensor is the same and so just gonna try wire up reverse sensor and trick ute into thinking its in neutral all the time
