2008 Sr brake shudder and rotor replacement advice

Hey guys. My 08 sr has a grab, let go, grad, let go feeling when applyingbthebrakes coming to a stop. Havent looked yet but am guessing thevrotors are warped. Any others opinions?
So if te rotors arecwarped, im planning on replacing thevrotors myself and have members talk bout DBA slotted series 4000 rotors. R these any good? What price can i expect to pay for em and is repco reputable enough to buy them from?
Any others recommended?
Brakes wil be used for mainly daily driver and weekend tourer and beach runner. No serious rock work

hi mate, i had the same problem on my lux, i got onto rapid rs in pakenham melbourne and got slotted rotors. they were $140 i think with pads. fitted them at home and job done. been very very happy with then. hope this helps.

What brand of rotors did u buy and pads? Or were they exclusive to rapid rs?

Also, what do u do when the slotted rotors need machining? Im guessing the grooves are machined out over a few machinings?. Or just replace them again?

they are exclusive to rapid rs. i went and picked them up but im sure they post as they are a business. i got onto them via ebay. see if you can find them on there www.rapidrs.com.au i just looked them up and they have moved to keysborough (03) 9798 8440 ask for kathey.
