Thanks for the feedback doug

Just noticed that the new drive shaft has the outer boot with 3 or 4 ribs compared to the orig with 6 so will be interesting to see if it pulls back up the shaft like skog07's has done :( :-)

All goodSaturday I drove up into the bush directly behind our hose with our dog barking running along the fence when she seen us. The hill is quite steep with the Luxes front end bouncing in the air as I drove up. Funny story was I then drove up in my new Maverick stock as a rock with the Hiluxes new Mickey Thompson 33' tyres, I drove up onto the gras and moved the gearlever into 4wd low range and proceeded up through a bit of mud and up a couple of ledges which the Lux just walked up, the Maverick took three attempts and was stuck half way up unable to go backwards due to sliding accross near a tree, me swearing about how hopless these's trucks where when Luke my son said dada did you lock in the hub's, need I say anymore.Sunday we went to Stockton beach with the Raymond Terrace 4b club all went well with the most fun coming from driving in and around the salt bush up towards Anna bay.

Doug, Good to see your Hilux back on and offroad again.
It's very easy to get lazy after owning a 4WD with auto locking hubs.
