Looks like you have lost a significant amount of grease.
Any clicking or grinding noises?
With a long way yet to go with a big lap I'd get new grease and a split boot at least.
Not sure how much a new CV would cost from Toyota but worth while if the old one is completely shot.
If you have time to spare in Perth you could go to a wreckers for a cv shaft but then you would need a workshop to install. Might not be worth your time and money going 2nd hand CV depending on its condition.
If the old girl has done significant km I'd bite the bullet and get toyota to install a new shaft - piece of mind knowing that it will get me another 200K or more
