I've wound the adjuster up as far as it would go and then give the bar a big bend, seems to work for me.

This works a treat since I baught my Hilux 6 months ago I have found my brakes absolutely terrible today after reading the messages above I went out and moved all the way to the top of the treads as I have 50mm lift the difference is unbelievable my pedal and everything fells so much better all wheels locking together sweet !! The next wet day will be the test I have been bricking it on wet days since purchase front locking nearly every time unless I start to slow down a km in advance !!

I have just extended my lpv while I had it in the air trying to find a rattle in my drums I thought I would do the test and had no brakes in the rear at all.
All sorted and its like driving a new car.
Exept for the rattle in the drum :( still can't find it.
