Yep same ones. From what I've seen a decent amount of hard work they fail. This is just my experience with them, you cant have a solid nylon bush on a lart that cops that much of a pounding!

!!UPDATE!! Brake Pad Fault. Brake pads used Bendix Heavy Duty

So I took my car out bush and the noise was there when going over bumps. Went away when brakes applied

I also drove in 4hi and 4low noise was still their. Again only went away with brakes applied

Anyway I drove home jacked up the car removed both wheels and tried to shake the caliper there was no movement solid, I checked the brake pads and BAM! They still have tones of pad left but loose as buggery could shake them up and down

I pulled them out put that anti squeal stuff on them, as this provides a tacky paste to the back of the pads I put them back in wheels back on pumped the brake untill it was hard again and wedged a pry bar against the pedal and driver's seat let it sit for about 10 minutes

Went back to the bush noise is gone!!!

Admin delete if you want but this also may help out others if they have same problem cheers everyone :)

Good result 8-) .
No deleting; this is how we share information and learn ;)

Gotta wonder if the pads are still in good condition how did they get so loose

Not really sure mate like I do a fair bit of 4wdint and going through mud puddles ect. But I mean pads are still in perfect condition , the pins have wear marks but nothing major when I do replace them I'll do the pins also, just be on the safe side haha

Pads have about 65 to 70% on them still

I've notice Bendix have change there packaging not sure if they improved anything?

I know with genuine Toyota ones they put extra shims behind the pad when they change the number quiet some time ago so who knows haha

Hey mate if you don't mind any chance you can jack your car up so front wheels are off the ground and take a photo of your UCAs I just want to see the angle

If you see mine I think the way it's bending out is allowing everything to drop further then it should which is stopping me rotating the wheels. If I lower it back on the ground everything looks good

That might be going off topic a bit for this thread so will find a relevant thread to post a couple CV pics there:
ADDIT - Link here: CV angles

Back on topic - I stumbled across this post here. A few members discussing a noise that stops under brakes:
Is the click from a CV joint normal?

They discuss more of a ticking/click than a rattle however everyone uses different adjectives

I replaced the struts and when I took the old ones off the right cv come out, I relocated it put everything back together and went to drive out the drive way and heard a clunk from the front. It now makes a ticking noise but only in a straight line. When braking and turning it stops. Does anyone know what it may be??

this may sound a bit strange but try and look between the the Break disc rotor and the disc pad guard for dirt, rocks or even sand.
i had this noise along with scrathing sometimes, and all along it was just a few rocks from a muddy salt lake.
only made a noise when traveling slow and always stopped when i used the break.

If it stops when you apply your breaks I could be rocks in your break guard, that's what I had see my old post just above.
