Yeah I told him it was a manual and I assumed he'd know the type of diff as they would be the one ratio for all manuals, he implied they could be different.

http://www.harrop.com.au/4wd

That is the very well regarded Australian engineering company which does what's necessary to make an E-Locker to fit the Hi Lux.

If you email them with details of your Toyota model and diff ratio, they will be able to give the correct information and advice.

Norway's good !!

I live in Peru, South America. Far away from ARB, Ultimate, and Ironman suppliers. I do make trips back to the USA though and have been known to bring car parts in my suitcase. Looking at the ELocker for the front diff. I could buy it in AUS and ship it to the USA... but I did find this model ELocker in the USA. Wondering if it would work on a stock post 2005 4x4 Hilux? Any insight would be appreciated. I'm assuming stock is 3.7:1 or lower from other info I have read.

Contacted Harrop and they told me that the EATON locker I linked to would not work with the Hilux. The only ones that will are from Harrop-Eaton in Australia. Talked with Ben Shaw at Harrop, he was very helpful in passing along the information that I was looking for. Model A10994 for the front diffs on post '05 Hilux trucks.

hi all
can anyone confirm if i should get e locker that suits my original carrier / setup 3.73
or do i get a e locker for 3.9s and above?
4.1s are now installed on my standard carrier with auto locker?

not impressed with auto locker as i have 2wd low range mod and there not compatible with auto locker as one wheel is always engaged? add is made redundant by locker needs to be open wheel diff for 2wd mod to work
