Single Cab 4 X 4 Pics/Mods

Hi Everyone


Looking for pics & mods other members have done to their single cab 4x4's as my sons is being delivered on the 12th July & we haven't been able to find much on the net.

At this stage he is going to get window tinting & Matt black the bonnet/roof the same day he picks it up.
List of things he wants to add are
2in Lift kit
Black Nudge bar with light bar (any advice would be appreciated)
TRD Grille Read on here about the gap after purchasing an Ebay spec one
SR5 fog lights
Definitely wants to run black rims but unfortunately dealer wouldn't swap std silver rims for black std rims so at this stage probably going to buy some of gumtree.
Are the wide body steel rims the same off set as the narrow body SCC 4x4

Yes they are certainty not so common these days,my son is getting his this week as it has been delayed. I will post some pics when he gets it as he will be adding some mods the first day
At least you get the wide body version as that is not an option here in Australia with single cabs,he is going to change the front guards/fenders to wide body when or if he can find some.

unfortunatly not !! It's also the narrow body version, delivered with the steel wheels 6 x 17 and "ridiculous" 225/70R17 tires.


stock rims, but with aftermarket winter-tires Nokian 235/80R17


The pictured "mud"tires are 245/75 R 17 Goodyear on Toyota wheels 6,5 x 17. Due to a different backspacing this wheels are legalized with the help of some rubber profiles at the wheelarches (about 2 cm wide and imho really, really ugly.... ) and individual mudflaps. Over here in Germany the Hilux MK 8 was introduced 07-2016 and is still new to the market (with the Single Cab being homoeopathic ... ). There are no suitable fenderflares for the narrow body available right now - perhaps I should adopt the ones from my Defender 110 .. *lol*
