2016 SR5 dual purpose dual cab

After having a few wagons and a decked out 4.2td patrol with all the fruit I made the change to a dual cab a few years ago in a Ranger. While it was a good truck it had some computer gremlins so swapped over to the hilux.

After spending money on canopies and bull bars just to give them to someone else for free (I change vehicles over every few years for work) I wanted to have a simple setup that could be mostly converted back to stock and all the gear transferred over to the next vehicle or on sold

So far I've fitted:
Tub liner
Tonneau cover
2" efs lift kit
17 x 9 kmc machete wheels with toyo open country at2 tyres
Dual battery
Electric brake controller
Power to the tub
Fridge slide
Lockable fridge box

So after a few months of messing around I'm getting there

Box slips over fridge slide and clamps down from the inside

How do you find the EFS lift? Looking at going with the EFS elite stuff myself

Quite good. The rear is firm when empty but with some weight it is a really nice ride.
I was originally supplied the 70-100 kg front springs by mistake and it sat quite high, like about 75mm. Replaced those with the up to 60kg and it is probably a little lower than I would like, about 35mm in the front now.
Would be good if they had a spring that was somewhere in the middle. At the end of the day this is setup for day of o day use and touring so no need for a massive lift and massive tyres.

Thanks for the feedback, that's a tough choice between the 2 springs for the front....too high or too low

I figure less of a worry about wearing cv's if it's a little lower. Can always put a different spring in for a couple hundred bucks if it really bugs me. I think some other manufacturers springs fit but might be safe to stick with efs. I called their branch and while they don't seem to want to sell direct they are extremely helpful. Better than the lot I bought the kit from, they just want your money and never to see you again.

First test run for the hilux at Fraser, setup worked pretty well, everything stayed put and was easy to get to. Although we weren't camping just about everything I would normally take that doesn't go in the camper was in the tray.

While loaded up the suspension was almost like a limo and handled the inland tracks and washouts nicely. Took me a couple of days to figure out how to turn off the TRC properly but still made it through the soft stuff.
