Hello everyone,
So i had a bit of time and decided to do a write up on my Lux. Got it on October and have already racked up 5000kms :D :D :D . Been a good vehicle so far with no issues.

Vehicle

2016 4X4 2.8L DSL D/C/C Manual GRAPHITE

Factory Accessories

- Toyota Warn Winch
- Steel Bull Bar - Premium
- Rear View Camera
- Tow Bar
- Floor Mats
- Snorkel

After Market Accessories

- 5x BF Goodrich TA K0-2 265/70R17 (OEM RIMS and yes tires fit but have slight rubbing when vehicle hard locks)
- Steel Tray (non-genuine tray colour coded)
* Jacking Points
* Trundle Draw
- ARB AR32 Intensity Spotlights (These fit perfectly with the factory premium steel bull bar)
- Superfit Seatcovers (Denim black which suits interior)
- LED worklamps for head board
- Window Tint (darkest legal)
- LED interior lights (map & center lights)
- LED drive lights
- 2x toolboxs mounted to steel tray
- ARB 140L frontier long range fuel tank (as in other posts pretty much when i fill the tank to the top, the tank stays full for 60L till i reach 80L then the range finally adjusts for remaining fuel. All ARB said they do is adjust the float switch)

Accessories on order

- Change park lights to LED
- Install air compress somewhere with dash switch control
- Brought a 12v remote control system to wire up my external lights (remotely turn work lights on/off)
- Addition lighting around vehicle (still doing some research)

Future Accessories

- Dual battery system
- ARB portable fridge (waiting to see what the 2017 march ARB fridge really looks like, might mount it on the tray with dash switch)
- A water tank (need to find a spot to mount tank)
- Have a remote search light mounted to roll bar (will make a bracket to offset one of my work lights and mount the remote search light)
- GME CB UHF XRS (just trying to figure out a place to mount it. I did like the idea from one of the other post to have a socket on the dash somewhere so the hand piece can be unplug when not in use)

Below are some photos of the vehicle so far...

Looking good!
have you tried using the winch yet?
the oem battery is only 450CCA, i think warn reccommends minimum 650CCA for winch use...
cheers!

Yes. It shows every scratch, ding, chip, swirl, etc. Had it 2 days when I thought I should have gone for white instead.

Yeah scratches come up easily, accidentally sideswiped a bush, but its only a surface scratch so ill buff it out once i get a few more and it starts looking like a bush basher.

Yeah sweet mate for the look of it I'll still go with the graphite, how are the bf's going I'm keen to get bigger on the straight away and that's the size I'm thinking but lots of people saying they rub.

I was in the same boat contemplating white vs graphite but ended up going with graphite so it didn't look like a work ute. Yeap they definitely rub when hard lock turning, but driving normally and 4wd with bumps tires are all good no rubbing.

UPDATE - Overview

Upfront: Installed ARB dual battery tray with red arc BCDC charger. Also have a CTEK charger for charging Hilux at home with ARB element fridge on.

Image

Cable runs: basically i have run a 8mm cable from the aux battery under the bonnet to behind the back seat. From there i have ran a 7 core trailer cable to the dash clusters for control wiring (eg switches for fridge, compressor and lights. Also another power cable run for the UHF radio to behind the dash.

Image

Image

Behind back seat: Locate behind the back seat is a fuse box (Narva 12 way fuse block), relays and a remote switch relay control panel. Also have installed a air compressor behind back seat (alot of room behind there!)

Image

Tray: Additional lighting and ARB element fridge/freezer installed
