Hey guys

Just took ownership of a new SR5, after owning a older shape colorado for 6 years i am liking the clearance.

Sent it to ARB the day i got it to get a bit done, still alot of work to do so gonna try and update this as much as possible. Doing a trip up Cape York in May next year so hoping things are done by then.

Current Modifications:

- ARB Summit Bullbar
- ARB Side Rails and Steps
- ARB Summit Rear Bar
- Safari Snorkel
- 140L Frontier Long Range Tank
- 2 x Rated Recovery Points (Front)
- Warn Zeon 10-s (Synthetic Rope)

Future Mods To Come:

- A/T tyres and wheels
- Canvas Seat Covers
- Air Compressor
- Side & Rear LED lights
- Custom Exhaust
- Canopy
- Spotlights
- Dual Battery Kit with BMS
- UHF
- Possibly a Drawer System

New tyres and wheels will be in a few weeks, at least going to fit 265/75/16 but i think i can get bigger on, anyone had any experience with going bigger let me know. Just need the minister of war and finance to sign off on it all :D

Nice one TY, that front bar looks pretty beefy.

The summit rear bar looks good.
Are you happy with its fitment?
Are the sides solid and look like theyd take a belting?

cheers guys,

sylox the fitment seems good, noticeable upgrade in the rear suspension but didn't really get the lift i was after.

the strongest part of the rear bar is the 63mm tubing that stops on the corner, the steel sides are obviously stronger then the panels but can see them being fairly dented after a while

Do the sides look like they will keep the panels safe or push into them?

Looking at 3" Kings/Fox lift for mine.

they have 2 sturdy brackets either side going straight to the chassis so i doubt they would damage any panels
