Ute Tray Camping

Hi Guys,

I wanted to share my little camping system I have had rigged up for the ute. I do a few overnight trips and really wanted something quick / dry / comfortable without the hassle of a tend. I recently had this made and it really fits the bill....
You get a big covered area with an interior light, space for a "caravan double" mattress between the wheel wells, and side windows. It attaches around the roof racks then with two bungie cords (no drilling required) and takes about a minute to put up.

Neat, particularly with what appears to be a longer tub on the new model :D

Should also be a good idea with pre-2015s.

Have you had it in rain,
Just wondering where the water would go from canvas, as it rolls back to canapé,
I have seen slimar done with flat hard tops but never like that,
Look the good and you should invest in putting a Patton on it
farting is alot like jxxxxxg off. both provide instant gratification, but neither is a long term solution to the actual problem......................

Had it out in the Blue Mountains this weekend. It rained all weekend so I decided to throw a tarp over the vehicle for extra cover. Not a drop inside (except for when I left the read door open and fell asleep).

Not sure if the tub is longer, but with a full size mattress there is still a foot of space between the end of the mattress and the door.
