Will see if I can get some pics sorted in the next few days.

My wife had a Colorado with a plastic liner and I wasn't a fan at all due to the amount of crap that ended up under it!

All my accessories so far were fitted before I picked the car up from the dealer but the liner started out as a bit of a disaster as the accessories dick at Toyota decided if use a diy liner called viper... It's a 2pack paint kit that's about 1mm thick (and if you have a compressor and a spay gun you can do it yourself) and whilst it has its uses, its a world away from a proper liner like rhino or speedy liner which is 3-4mm thick (and it's not something you can diy)

The dealer ended up respraying my tub with speedy liner and I'm happy again.

My sister has had a rhino liner in her older lux for years and the coating seems to be harder, where as the speedy liner in mime feels more softer/more rubbery.... But I'm not sure if mine will harden with age

sorry it took a while, its a pain uploading pics on here... had to re-learn how to do it :)
i also asked them to spray down between the tailgate and the tub (where all the crap gets stuck) apparently they don't normally do it.

Looks good mate, bars WILL look better once you get then powder coated.

When you go to get them done ask about different textures, you'll be surprised how different black can look in powder.

i have a mate that works for ashdown ingram- auto electrical wholesalers, he and a few other mates chipped in and got them for a birthday present so I'm not sure on price.
the lights just plug in, you just need to find a home for the led driver with a zip tie.

Looking the goods

What is that fridge base you got, is it bolted to the tray??

I got a spray on liner and was looking for a way to put a fridge slide down without having to get drawers

Thanks, the led's need a bit of tweaking, and the bright "V" in the middle of the will probably disappear.

i originally wanted a slide but couldn't work out a way to engineer it while still having it fit under the tonnau cover, so plan B was to just bolt it in... if i didnt have the rear bar ladder my fridge would have fit nicely between the wheel well and the back of the car, but no luck. my eventual plan is to get a tray and a canopy so it will be a bit easier to access with a dropslide.

the base plate is for a national luna fridge, it locks the fridge in really well. this design probably wont work for other fridges tho as my fridge has key holes in the bottom that the base plate mushroom nuts lock into.
i you were handy on the tools just buy the mushroom nuts and make your own, cause they are bloody expensive for what they are!

i have the 50L twin fridge & freezer and it fits under the tonnau cover... just

I've barely had a chance to use them (just work work work atm)

looking forward to some time off at chrissy toplay with the car and finally a good chance to get it dirty!

i haven't played around with the angle of the led bulb in the headlight to see how it changes... its on the "to do" list though

the whiter light makes them feel much brighter, but im not sure if the area they light up is more or less than before. Unfortunately i didn't take any pics with the old bulbs in so i could compare.

"Thanks, the led's need a bit of tweaking, and the bright "V" in the middle of the will probably disappear."

By "tweaking" you mean ... ?

I've just fitted a set of HB3's myself and unfortunately I'm not overly impressed hence my question.

Cheers

its just a theory, and ill admit since i am a male, if there are any helpful instructions... they are still folded up nicely in the box the lights came in.

im sure thet is an actual name, but i call these led bulbs, a blade type led that throws light out each side >I< vs something cylinder shaped covered in leds... when i first installed them the bulbs both sat at at angle up to the center \ / i also noticed the heatsink has a grub scew that can be used to hold the led bulb at what ever angle produces the best result...

so my assumption was it was just a matter of spending a bit of time testing what effect the angle of the blade led had on the reflector in the headlight, then once you have what ever angle produces the best result, use the grub screw to lock it in place.

again its just a theory, just haven't had a chance to test it
