Got around to installing the provent catch can kit and secondary fuel filter kit. Really happy with the catch can and fuel filter except that the fuel filter out didn't fit without having to move some things. Not the company's fault as it was designed to fit in with a dual battery tray but as I went for the bcdc1225 with solar input, where ARB installed the solar Anderson plug and relay I had to move them to allow the filter bracket and repositioning of the small ecu. Anyway Hopefully it's all cheap insurance.

Also installed a set of LED driving lights from the 4wd supacentre. Haven't wired them up as I'm waiting on the correct new pro tech light switches. I had to do some small adjustments the the light brackets to make them fit correctly.

Didn't get any photos with lights installed but I'll get them on here when I do.

Pulled the dash and console apart to get ready to wire all the gear up.
Iv ordered switches for
LED spot lights
LED light bar ( on head board)
Reverse lights
Work lights
Revolving lights
aux battery

So Iv also got USB ports that I'll wire in along with main and aux volt meters

Iv got a game uhf to go in along with a red arc tow pro

So I'm planning to do it all in one hit.

I'll add pics when Iv got a bit more done

Hey Jamie. Your Utes coming along nicely. Just wondering if the BCDC gets hot in that position close to the engine bay? I know a few people mount them out the front of the radiator to get max airflow without engine heat. I've ordered my ute, but it doesn't come til Nov. looking to do very similar installs.

I can't say it gets to hot. When I got it installed i asked arb about it and also talked to a red arc rep and said they would cover them for warrant them being there. My main concern is how long it will last. There is heaps of room between to grille and radiator so I might relocate it yet.

Got my new pro tech switches today and very happy with them. Removed the panel for the switches to go into. I used a deemed and relocated the idle up switch. Just to wire them all up now.

After putting in the fuel filter kit it fouled with the solar relay and solar Anderson plug. As I wanted to put in circuit breakers for rear Anderson plug, toolbox power and red arc towpro CB I decided to relocate the bcdc charger. I pulled it all out and had to add in 500mm of wire for the cable to reach the aux battery. I also added the solar relay into the relay bank for my other lights.

I had to relocate the windscreen washer fill point and made a new bracket for it. Don't have a pic of it yet.

Bad photo but this is where I put the circuit breaker. Where the bdcd charger was.

Getting around to building a tray. Just wondering what under tray draws you all have. It got materials and ideas to make it but would appreciate if someone could share some pictures of how the draw seals. Thanks in advance

Going for a mixture of aluminium and steel on this tray. Some things need the strength of steel and some bit are fine to be light but strong. Folded up sides today made from aluminium

Jamie,

Wow!!! That looks Like a Secret Service Urban Assault Vehicle! NICE JOB..... The White makes it very stealth, but the Front Bumper gives it the awesome Battering Ram Manly look!

I'm inspired!

Nice Job Jamie! :D

Thanks Jacko and Brad. Sometimes it pays to have stuff tidy and setup exactly how you want it so I hope it pays off in the end.

Yeah for sure mate, mine is pretty close to what I want, other than a change of toolbox. Going to go to a Faber Adventurer or Rancher 3. Not really happy with my current toolboxes which are just contractor 1 boxes, the drawers rattle really bad & have flogged out the holes, regardless of how I bush them, just too much sideways slop in the drawer rollers & bearings, prefer go back to a friction slide job. I like the mix of alloy and steel, I was going to do similar on mine, but in the end it was just easier to use all steel as I am rubbish with ally. I was going to go with a nice heavy alloy tray & use steel sides as I always have rubber ute matting on the floor anyways. Did you still need photos of how the drawer seals? I have an under tray drawer in mine & can grab a few photos for you.

Thanks Jacko but I come up with a way which I'm pretty sure should seal. Thanks all the same
