Went with a domin8rX. Know some people with the old model and love them. Took the bar off to fit it.
Put a spacer type diff drop in while I was there. Didn't need it but everything helps.
Somehow hit a galah and killed it and the cv boot in the process yesterday. Now to fix that before we go away on Wednesday(Frasier island)
The lights look even bigger from this angle!

Yea not happy about the boot. Super glue kept the grease in untill i got home (about 400km)
Will get heaps of pics. Went a few years back and hired a troopy for the day. Should be better this time.

The hilux was brilliant at Fraser the last few days. Did about 400km and returned 18.5L/100km but I was giving it a bloody hard time in the soft sand for a while. Lots of power for anything we needed. Could easy hold 80kmh in the really soft stuff.

You look to be one of only a few bars that will work with the new style winch. From what I've ready it can't be rotated to support mounting the winch feet forward like XROX and most ARB bars.

The winch was easy to mount to the ironman bar. Didn't take much notice to the style for how it would go with other fitments.

Hey mate how'd the outback suspension go at Fraser? Which weight springs did you go int the rear? Is it firm??

Cheers

It was brilliant at Fraser! Very impressed with the suspension. Went with the 150kg rear leafs because of the heavy tray. The fronts to suit the bullbar and winch.
Bottomed it out a few times on some really big hits but it was awsome otherwise.

Yeah rito, good to hear. Do you find the suspension a little stiffer when unladen?

Awesome, I'm looking at getting a kit as well. May have to look into the Outback setup, was there a reason you decided to go with Outback?

I went with the outback armour because I talked to a few with it and they liked it. I also couldn't find a negative thing about them anywhere. Always a good sign.

That's the go mate, I was just wondering as I haven't heard a great deal about the make but it looks like quality gear. Did you happen to take a measurement of increased ride height after your suspension had settled a bit? Did you end up adjusting your castor to minimise the mudguard scrub?

Cheers

Hub to guard measurement:
Front before lift and winch-510
After lift and winch-565

Rear before lift-415 to edge of tray
After (with 80kg in boxes)-500

Adjusted caster and the mudflaps are all good now.
