Hey kiwi,

Nice car

Been thinking of hittin my lux with a fair bit of plastic dip when I finally get it.. I was wondering if you can give me any info on how durable plastic dip is?
I'm mostly interested in what's happens to your wheels (if they have been painted) when you go off-road. But also how your rear bumper is fairing.

I'd also like to make my chrome ladder racks black and I'm sure if plastic dip will survive ropes etc being tied to it?
Appreciate any feed back

Plastidip wont hold up to ropes etc, it will surely rip off. You'd have to powder coat to get the strength needed for ladder racks.
Not sure about wheels...

I have plastidipped my grille and it looks good, but even then im unsure how it will hold up to bug splatter and the odd rock. But so far so good. I also hit it with some 303 aerospace protectant, might help it (i hope) :) Plastidip is pretty tough for cosmetic purposes but isnt designed for wear areas...

akroehn can you post some pics up of your front grille with the Plastidip so I can have a look before i do mine. You can buy a clear coat Plastidip if you want a more satin/semigloss look. I have had plastids of wheels of my other vehicles and it wears extremely well if anything does happen its easy to touch up.

I have to say, you've just sold me on the white 2016 SR5. I'm currently a Jeep owner "i know-no need to say it".
It's in the process of being traded in for a new SR5 but I've been stuck on what colour to get. Your truck has just sold me on the white. Love the detail and time you've put into it. Awesome truck bro.

Hey mate,

Is this where you got your flares? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/BLACK-FENDER ... rmvSB=true

Trying to find something not as big as the jungle flares.

Thanks
