I have had my 2017 sr for 2 weeks now and have now noticed that when it’s been driven for around an hour into town it develops a tapping sound that is quite loud when coming to a stop.The noise is not there at start up and sounds perfect until it heats up.it is booked in with the dealer but anyone know what it could be??
Also when you shut off the engine as the it comes to a stop the tap is in time with the engine shutting down.??

Could be that timing chain. There was a service campaign early on, get them to check you vin to see if it applied.
