hi i have recently had my mercedes van remapped and egr deleted, went from 70kw to 130kw and 250 torques to 400, have to say its a different beast to drive, they can do the hilux from the standard 130 to 154 kw and 420 to 520 torques, has anyone on here had this done?
any issues with reliability etc?

does the latest model hilux have the same engine tuned to 150 kw or is is a different engine?
the van cost $1200 NZ and i expect the hilux to be the same
thanks

The 150kw engine has a couple of minor differences, it was discussed here a while ago based on toyota media at the time of the release. I'm pretty sure they changed the head gasket, gave it a different turbo and obviously changed the ECU map.

Hence the updated head gasket. 25 is getting up there... almost as much as highly strung euros.

It's actually peaking at 28 -29lb, & regularly is higher than my '17 model.

That's a fair bit of boost.
