Hi all
I have been towing an empty trailer 10x5 and all of sudden noticed this horrible knocking noise when under load. More noticeable on Power Mode, and now maybe because I know it's making a noise I can hear it (not as severe as when towing) without anything in the back.
Have attached a video for reference, quite disappointed as Toyota is known for being bulletproof but it seems otherwise.

I wouldn't stress too much, sounds like injectors...it may just need a re-learn....if in doubt...take it to toyota and express your concern and ask them to run a diagnostic on the injectors and report back on feedback values and any findings. Alternatively, take it to a diesel specialist and ask them to do the same thing. Doesn't sound mechanical to me.
